Josephine Rose Rodenburg

Josephine Rose Rodenburg, age 94, passed away at Risen Son Christian Village June 6, 2023, after complications from COVID.

She was born January 1, 1929, to the late Joseph and Frances (Behm) Stolz in Mondamin, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Rodenburg; grandson, Steven Joens; sisters, Barbara Burbridge and Mary Emma Stolz; brothers, Frank Stolz and Bob Stolz.

Josephine is survived by her children, Marsha (Roger) Joens, Henry (Karen) Rodenburg, and Mitchell (Jean) Rodenburg; grandchildren, Tracy Montgomery, Jane Whannell, Tom Joens, Laura Simons, Anne Archer, Elizabeth Punko, Jon Rodenburg, Christopher Rodenburg, and Amy Thompson; 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Inurnment will be in the Grange Cemetery at a later date. The family will direct memorials.
