Joyce Beason

Joyce Beason, age 83, passed away December 17, 2023. She was born September 18, 1940 to the late Ivan and Marguerite (Leber) Beason in Kansas City, MO. Joyce enjoyed baking with her family, dancing, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She would crochet baby blankets for all the grandchildren and her great grandchildren that many of the children still cherish. For many years, she was an active parishioner at St. Peters Church.

Joyce is survived by her children, Mark (Renate) Schaeffer, James "Tony" Schaeffer (Mary Kay Waltz), and Shaleen (Ted) Robinson; sister, Sr Rita Beason OSF;11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
