Jricka Rothermund

Jricka JoAnn Rothermund, age 32, passed away at Jennie Edmundson Hospital on December 1, 2025.

She was born October 18, 1993 to Shane and Amy (Stokes) Rothermund in Council Bluffs, IA. Jricka graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.

Jricka was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Ronald & Margaret Smith, Eugene & Shirley Burkhart; grandmother, Reva Edie; uncle, Chad Rothermund; cousin, Liam Stokes.

Jricka is survived by her father, Shane Rothermund (Nancy); mother, Amy Miller (Terry); children, Jayka Rothermund, Sayer Rothermund, and Nirvana Rothermund; sister, Nyssa Rothermund; nephew, Kaiden Holtz; niece, Nariaha Holtz; grandparents, Ronnie & Connie Rothermund, Rick Stokes, and Butch Edie; uncles, Ricky Stokes, Jeff Stokes, and Carl Rothermund; a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Warehouse 1414 West Broadway in Council Bluffs on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
