Judith Jensen

Judith R. Jensen, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by her daughters on August 24, 2025.

She was born January 20, 1942, to the late Fred and Inez (Gruenau) Peterson in Council Bluffs, IA. Judy graduated from Minden High School with the class of 1960. She was married to Richard Jensen in 1963. Judy retired from Jennie Edmundson Hospital and helped her husband at Jensen Service, LTD. She was a longtime member of the Minden United Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jensen; sister, Marcia Russmann.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Kristi (Steve) Clawson, Shelli (James) Handy, Jennifer (Jeremy) McDermott; 6 grandchildren, Kelsey (Josh Kohl) Handy, Konnor (Jadyn Sacco) Handy, Cameron Clawson, Bryce Clawson, Chloe Clawson, Kaden (Lindsay Rickers) McDermott; great grandchild, Landon Kohl; grand-dog, Boomer; brother-in-law, Jerry Russmann; special friend, Joan Siebels; a niece, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
