Judy Smith

Judy Smith, age 77, passed away at CHI Mercy Hospital on May 5, 2025.

She was born April 19, 1948, to the late Ralph and Blanche (Speight) Johnson in Atlanta, GA. Judy graduated from Murphy High School in Atlanta, Georgia, with the class of 1966.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Kennington; and brother, Kenneth Johnson.

Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stephen Smith; children, Sharah (Andrew) Ludlow, Meagan (Devan) Kennington, Sabry (Brett) Edwards, Colin Smith; siblings, Katheryn Prettyman, Johnny (Nancy) Johnson, Elizabeth (Carson) Ashworth, Kaye Blonquist, Thomas Johnson; sister-in-law, Elaine Johnson; grandchildren, Rachael (Adam) Eccles, Landon Kennington, David Ludlow, Ethan Edwards, Jackson Edwards, Ellie Kennington, Evan Ludlow, Olivia Edwards, Brenley Ludlow, Lucy Edwards, Kaitlyn Kennington, Lily Edwards, Kyle Kennington, and Zoey Edwards; great grandson, Henry Eccles; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - 2303 Butler St, Council Bluffs, IA, on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
