Julie Shreeves

Julie A. Shreeves, age 62, passed away at Jennie Edmundson Hospital July 11, 2025.

She was born August 1, 1962, to the late Dwight and Wava (Wolfe) Smith in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by father, Dwight Smith; mother, Wava Smith; siblings, Gary Smith, Barb Perales, and Richard Smith.

Julie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Les Shreeves; children, Sarah Belt and Derek (Erin Flynn) Shreeves; grandchildren, Jaiden Belt, Haley Binau, and Preston Reseter; siblings, Wanda Davis and Bonnie (Denny) Pontiero; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Julie was a kind and caring woman. She was a mother and grandmother to everyone and was very well loved. The world will miss her.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
