Justin T. Lara

Justin T. Lara, age 63 of Council Bluffs passed away January 18, 2022 at Mercy Hospital.
Justin was born July 28, 1958 to Sara A. Jensen and Tomas M. Lara at Mercy Hospital.
Justin earned a degree from Iowa Western and worked many years in the field of aviation as an Inspector and mechanic. His work took him from Iowa to Wisconsin, Illinois, South Dakota and finally Nebraska.
Justin loved boating and playing his guitars.
Justin is preceded in death by his father, Tomas M. Lara.
Justin is survived by his mother, Sara Jensen; two sisters; two nieces; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date.
