Karen A. Wells

Karen A. Wells, age 72, of Council Bluffs passed away at her home on December 18, 2014. She was born in Council Bluffs on March 29, 1942 to the late Alan and Rose (LaChappell) McClelland. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas and Steven McClelland. Karen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harvey Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Kim Wells; daughter, Sandra Wells; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Ann McClelland; 2 grandchildren, Stephanie Peetz (Ryan) and Nicholas Wells. Private graveside services will be held in the Lewis Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southwest Iowa or the American Red Cross.
