Katherine A. Dofner

Katherine A. Dofner, age 77, passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital on January 26, 2023.

She was born June 14, 1945, to the late Harry and Katherine (O'Brien) Elliott Sr. in Council Bluffs, IA. Katherine retired from Jennie Edmundson Hospital and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Norris.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Dofner Sr.; children, Kristine Hamilton (John), Cindy Pike (Don), Paul Dofner Jr. (Barb), and Dennis Dofner Sr.; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 1 brother; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at First Church of the Nazarene on Monday, January 30, 2023. Interment is in the Branson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Church of the Nazarene.
