Kristi Lynn Koopmeiners, age 61, passed away at Nebraska Medicine on July 30, 2026.

She was born July 9, 1965, to the late Conrad and Velva (Satterly) Campbell in Council Bluffs, IA. Kristi graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1983 and was a member of Saint John Lutheran Church.

Kristi was an avid bingo player and she loved going to garage sales. The 4th of July was a favorite holiday of hers, she loved everything about America. Kristi was a Spicy Pickle Shot drinker and always shopped until she dropped. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spoiling all her fur animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by fur-babies, Boss, Bear, Grizzly, and Snuggles.

Kristi is survived by her children, Justin Koopmeiners and Jerika Hawkins (Julie); the children's father, Kirk Koopmeiners (Andrea); sisters, Kathy Danielson (David) and Karen Mohn (Harley); fur-babies, Rozzi, Sadie, Jax, and Tucker, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, August 03, 2026. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Saint John Lutheran Church on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
