Larry C. Tilley

Larry C. Tilley, age 61, passed away at his cabin in Wynot, Nebraska on October 31, 2015. He was born in Council Bluffs on July 15, 1954 to Jack and Mary Jean (Miller) Tilley. Larry graduated from Lewis Central High School. He was a longtime service manager at Peterbilt in Council Bluffs. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Tilley; infant brother, Steven Tilley; son-in-law, Michael Thomson. Larry is survived by his wife, Kris Tilley; children, Angie Pie Tilley, Jennifer Thomson, Amy Tilley, J.T. Tilley, Rylie Tilley; mother, Mary Jean Tilley; brothers, John Tilley (Tami), Tim Tilley, David Tilley; sister, Lisa Van Stratten (Dale); mother-in-law, Mary Lou Reeves; grandchildren, Arion, Zen, Allias, Allison, Rachel, Jordan, James, Tilly, Ruby; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the service and burial will be later that afternoon in the Bluff Creek Cemetery near Boone, IA. The family will direct memorials.
