Larry Gene Bahensky

Larry G. Bahensky, age 66, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at CHI Health in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Larry was born to James and Charlotte Bahensky on March 2, 1956. Larry was a cook in the US Army Reserves. He enjoyed stock cars, stock car racing, and teaching his kids how to work on, paint and restore cars and trucks. He also enjoyed collecting coins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Ora Rhodes and Clarence and Letha Bahensky, his parents, James (Jim) and Charlotte Bahensky, brother, David Bahensky, and son-in-law, K.C. Reynolds.

Left to cherish many lasting memories is his partner of 36 years, Mary Shamblen, and children, Laura Reynolds, Jason (Corki) Duchene, Agusta (James Morrison) Gray, Aaron (Tiffany) Shamblen, James (Kayla) Bahensky, nephew, Jeremy (Nikki) Bahensky, 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
