Larry James Diercks

Larry J. "Gramps" Diercks, age 56, passed away May 3, 2014. He was born in Council Bluffs on October 30, 1957 to Richard & Patricia (Collinson) Diercks. He is preceded in death by his father and his brother, Richard Diercks. Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Diercks; daughter, Leora Diercks (Raymond McSorley Sr.); son, John Diercks (Hope); mother, Patty lillich; brother, Kenny Diercks (sue); sisters, Christine Richey (Del) and Laurie Clinger; step-mother, Marlene Diercks; mother-in-law, Ellen Schroeder; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Thursday 2PM at the funeral home followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
