Larry Malmberg

Larry J. Malmberg, age 71, passed away at his home on September 7, 2023.

He was born June 8, 1952, to the late John and Delores (Johnson) Malmberg in Red Oak, IA. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Omaha World Herald as a pressman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Malmberg; sister, Nancy Bacon.

Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Malmberg; children, Chris (Liz) Malmberg, Matthew Malmberg, Mitchell (Laura) Malmberg, and Katie (Lorenzo Lopez) Malmberg; brother, Garry Malmberg; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, September 11, 2023. Interment is in Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Midlands Humane Society.
