Lavonne Herman

Lavonne "Bonnie" Herman, age 95, passed away December 21, 2025. She was born August 2, 1930 to Harvey and Charlotte (Fisk) Damon in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman; her first husband, Donald Miller; son, Donald Miller; daughters, Dianne Bass, Sherril (Richard) Brown; grandsons, Donald Miller II and Eric Miller; granddaughter, Sara Bass; daughter-in-law, Margit Miller, son-in-law, Kevin Neighbors; sisters, Pauline Gutridge, Darline Bowen, Glenva Damon, Mildred Damon; brothers, Wayne Damon and Delmer Damon.

LaVonne is survived by her children, Sandi Miller, and James Herman (Karen Rice); son-in-law, Steven Bass; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
