Leon Crocfer passed away peacefully at the age of 88. He was born on May 23, 1938, in Trinidad, Colorado, to Robert J. and Jeanette M. Crocfer.

Leon proudly served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from Adams State University and enjoyed a career as an accountant, working in both the private and public sectors.

A man of deep faith, Leon was an active member of his church family, the Gideons, and the Underwood Optimist Club. He was a devoted student of the Bible and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, gift for storytelling, and ability to connect with people of all ages. He especially enjoyed sharing stories and reading books with the youngest members of his family. To hear Leon read to a child was a joy, and those moments will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
