Leroy Otto Korner

LeRoy Korner, age 75, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died December 12, 2011. LeRoy was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and friend. His family will greatly miss him. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan so he especially enjoyed this year's World Series. He was preceded in death by wife, Sharon; and his parents, Leota and Leo. LeRoy is survived by sons, Mike and wife, Kathie Fennell, Pat and wife, Veronica, Don and wife, Lisa; 9 grandchildren, Zachary, Jennifer, Jonathan, Angela, Alex, Paityn, Toby, Noah, and Kennedy; and sister, Elsie Schmidt. A reception will be held in his honor at the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room at 1p.m., Saturday December 17. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Food Bank for the Heartland.
