Lester Lee (Goss) LeVier

Lester Lee (Goss) LeVier Jr., age 70, passed away at on July 7, 2026.

He was born February 13, 1956 to Lester and Julia (Larson) LeVier in Council Bluffs, IA. Lester attended Thomas Jefferson High School and worked at Kelly's Carpet, Twisted Tail and McGill Asbestos over the years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester LeVier Sr.; brother, David Goss.

Lester is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Penny LeVier; children, Amber Wheatley, Alyssa Barnhart, Jeremy LeVier, Seth LeVier, and Jacie Paulsen; mother, Julia Larson; siblings, Scott LeVier (Colleen), Sandra Blair (Kirk), and Connie Kurz (Marc); grandchildren, Hannah Wheatley, Zachary Wheatley, Sam Wheatley, Catelyn Wheatley, Raven LeVier, Mia Barnhart, Mila LeVier, and Rylee Paulsen; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Community Room on Monday, July 13, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, July 13, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
