Margaret Burkett

Margaret Burkett, age 93, passed away January 1, 2016 at Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs. She was born March 11, 1922 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late James and Daisy (Shelby) Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Burkett; brother, James Norris; sister, Helen Matthews; and great-grandson Hudson Pearson. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Pearson, and her husband Jim; son, Wayne Burkett, and his wife Sherry; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a service to begin at 6:30 p.m. all at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Family will direct memorials.
