Marilynn Ann Angeroth, 74, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away suddenly July 30, 2025 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE.
Marilynn was the first child of Sam and Barb (Finkle) Thomas, followed by her brother Sam (Lynda) of Silver City, IA and sister Rebecca of Fort Calhoun, NE. They attended Treynor Schools.
She gave birth to her first daughter, Cheri Ann, in May of 1968 and her second, Jessica Michelle, in July of 1975.
Having lived in different places and worked different jobs, she settled in Southwest Iowa, making it her home. Her love for restoring old houses was evident in her English Tudor home that saw her five grandkids grow up, Kaylee (Michael) Stanek of Walthill, NE, Levi (Jenny) Helbling of Waukee, IA, Kara (Daniel) Duysen of Clive, IA, Elias (fiancé Amanda) Barnes of Glenwood, IA and Dawson (Lacey) Barnes of Council Bluffs, IA.
She married Don and moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa. Adding two blessing sons into the mix, Michael William and Adam Farrell.
Her love of sewing started young and earned her money in different ways. Designing clothes and selling them at Jeanie's Jeans to owning her own upholstery business, which began as Sandbar Fever Upholstery and Storage and later became Sewing Time Upholstery. Specializing in marine and vehicle upholstery.
As time went on seven great-grandchildren joined the crew, Lane, Adeline, Liam, Luke, Sutton, Lilianna, and Isaiha. She had such pride in her growing family. Time also added new interests, as well. She got involved in racing corvettes with Don as well as traveling with him. They would have celebrated 11 years of marriage this winter.
The most important part of Marilynn was her deep love and devotion to our Lord Jesus. She has won many souls to Christ in her years, never failing to spread God's love.
Marilynn was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law Jeff Yeager, and her blessing sons Michael and Adam.
While Marilynn left this world way too early, she touched many lives in many ways and will be dearly missed and very loved for many years to come.
