Marilynn Pilling

Marilynn Pilling, age 96, passed away peacefully at Prairie Gate on February 7, 2022.

She was born May 19, 1925, to the late Clarence and Nella (Gray) Parker near Oakland, IA. Marilynn graduated from Carson High School with the class of 1943 and a member of the Carson United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Pilling.

Marilynn is survived by her children, Dennis "Dean" (Paula) Pilling, David (Darlene) Pilling, Marianne (John Scherle) Pilling, and Melinda (Shoan) McCready; sister, Corinne Morris; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Carson United Methodist Church on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Carson United Methodist Church on Friday, February 11, 2022. Interment is in the Macedonia Iowa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Macedonia Historical Society or Carson United Methodist Church.
