Mark Alan Gwennap

Mark Alan Gwennap, 61, passed away on July 28, 2026. He was born on September 16, 1964.

Mark was a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1983.

He worked as a truck driver most of his life. He loved hunting, fishing and farming.

Mark also had a talent for fixing anything with a small engine.

Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand and was the kind of person who could be counted on when someone needed

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Gwennap.

He leaves behind his son, Marc Gwennap (Tricia); his beloved grandchildren, Lathan, Lynleigh, and Lendrix; his mother, Wanda Gwennap; his brother, Kenneth Gwennap (Vicky); his sisters, Beverly Johnson and Shari Gwennap; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Caddy Shack located at 1426 4th Avenue, Council Bluffs, Iowa from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
