Marlene Collins

Marlene Collins, age 79, passed away at Hillcrest Health & Rehab on February 19, 2022. She was born December 31, 1942 to William "Gint" and Ann (Urban) Barrington in Dubuque, Iowa. Marlene worked at the Underwood School System as a cook for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira J. Collins; sister, Tonya Barrington; great-granddaughter, Jaileigh Posey.

Marlene is survived by her children, Colleen (Craig Jr.) Wells, Ira (Angie) Collins, Rohn (Dave Magnuson) Collins, David (Brenda Centamore) Collins; sister, Fran McBride; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.


Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Graveside service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Crescent Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Underwood fire and rescue.
