Martha Moen

August 31, 1939 — September 20, 2023

Martha M. Moen, age 84, passed away at CHI Health Mercy Hospital September 20, 2023.

She was born August 31, 1939, to the late Orla and Marie (Christensen) Jones in Council Bluffs, IA. Martha retired from Charles Schnieder Furniture and was a longtime member of Crossroads Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Doris Hudson, Everett Jones, Jean Foote, and Don Jones.

Martha is survived by her husband, Donald Moen; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Christina Moen; daughter, Susan Moen; grandchildren, Makenna (Jonny) McIntosh and Tytus (Sarah Catherine) Moen; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and LaVerne Jenkins; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, September 25, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Interment is Garner Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Liberty Church for Kenya Bypass High School Project.
