Mary E. Clark

Mary Elizabeth Clark, age 73, passed away peacefully June 18, 2023. She was born July 26, 1949 to the late George and Lizzlebell (Thomas) Loukota in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mary graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1967. Mary married Dennis Clark in 1969, the couple raised 3 children in the Council Bluffs area. Mary lived in Council Bluffs, IA the majority of her life until moving to Lincoln where she retired. Mary enjoyed golf, sewing, playing the piano, and reading books.

Mary is survived by her children, Sheryl (Rick) Larson, Matthew (Jennifer) Clark, and Benjamin; 3 grandchildren, Karley Larson, Dalton Larson, Kaitlin Geronimo; brothers, James Loukota, Robert Loukota, Dennis Loukota; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Private family interment will be held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials in Mary's honor to a foundation associated with ALS.
