Mary Jane Biede

Mary Jane Biede, age 76, passed away September 30, 2022.

She was born January 2, 1946 in Mason City, Iowa to the late August and Evelyn (Halligan) Huschka. Mary graduated from Boone Valley High School in 1964. She was united in marriage to Robert Biede on June 10, 1967. Mary was employed as a Direct Care Provider with REM and Iowa Focus. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, gardening, traveling and antiques. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Biede; sister, Annie Anderson; brother, John Huschka; and daughter, Carolyn Wilson.

Mary is survived by her children; daughter, Theresa Wolford of Council Bluffs; and son, Daniel Biede of Astonia, Oregon; grandchildren, Reegan Wolford, Ainsley Wolford, Elise Wolford, Jude Biede, and Henry Biede.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
