Mary K. Rieber

Mary Kathryn Rieber, age 93, fell asleep in death February 12, 2022. She was born in Bartlett, Iowa on March 8,1928 to Earl and Harriett (Cloyed) Ballard. She met and married Harry Rieber of Minden, Iowa and was married January 18, 1948. This union was blessed for 65 years until his death in Dec 2013. Mary was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1973 and has seen members of 4 generations share her faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; brothers, Quintin (Lena) Ballard, James (Theresa) Ballard; sisters, Dorothy (Les) Harness, Shirley (Al) Page; and son, Mitchell Lynn Rieber in Sept 2021.
Mary is survived by her children, Gordon (Cheryl) Rieber, Mitchell Rieber, Cynthia(Mike) Compton; Six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
The family is having a private family burial at Silver Valley Cemetery. There will be a memorial held via zoom later this month details to follow.
