Mary Larson

Mary K. Larson, age 84, passed away peacefully at Amelia House January 7, 2026.

She was born December 12, 1941, to the late John and Arvilla (Leslie) Turner in Neola, IA. Mary graduated from Saint Joseph Catholic High School in Neola Iowa, with the class of 1960 and she played 3 on 3 high school basketball. Mary worked at Boys Town for over ten years and was a devoted housewife and mother. But, her greatest joy was being grandma to her only grandchild, Tyler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Larson; brother & sister-in-law, Francis & LaVonne Turner.

Mary is survived by her children, Rhonda (David) Larson and Sheri (Mike) Green; grandson, Tyler Amato; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 08, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2026. Interment is in the Neola Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
