Max McDaniel, age 66, passed away August 7, 2026. He was born October 10, 1959 to Oscar and Jennie (Fichter) McDaniel in Omaha, Nebraska.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian McDaniel; sister, Patricia Roe.
Max is survived by his wife, Kaylene; daughters, Kristen (Matthew Nielsen) McDaniel, Kara (Brent) Frizzell; daughter- in-law, Katie McDaniel; grandchildren, Peyton, Bailey, Sullivan, Keith, Briella, Bentley, and Isabella; brothers, Steve (Kandy) McDaniel, Oscar McDaniel, Frank McDaniel and Bill McDaniel; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday August 14, 2026. Final resting place at Crescent, IA Cemetery.
The family will direct memorials.
