Maxine F. Meckna

Maxine F. Meckna, age 87, passed away October 12, 2018.

She was born in Council Bluffs on March 14, 1931 to the late Edward and Blanch (Foster) Smith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Wilhite; son, Calvin Wilhite Jr.; brother, Harold Smith and sister, Gerry Rhodes.

Maxine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Richard Hobbs; siblings, Jean Baker, Wilma Cooper, Shirley Anderson, Judy Schroder (Earl), Marilyn McIntosh, Carol Lindsy, Darrell Smith (Gerry) and Roger Smith; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Inurnment at a later date in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Midlands Humane Society.
