Melissa Cook

Melissa Cook, age 47, passed away peacefully at Rose Vista Nursing Home April 22, 2025. She was born October 19, 1977 in Council Bluffs, IA.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Pruitt.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Brian Cook; her father Morris Pruitt; daughters, Alaina Cook (Brandan Fuhrman) and Alissa Pruitt; brothers, Marty Pruitt, James Lebreton; sister, April (Miles) Carmichael; grandchildren, Clara Mae, Lillian Jean, and Beverly Ann; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at The Logan Christian Church (205 E 8th St, Logan, IA 51546). The family will direct memorials.
