Merwyn Pierson

Merwyn Pierson, age 90, passed away December 20, 2025. He was born September 3, 1935 to Roy and Cleta (Mallory) Pierson in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores (Dale) Kunze; and his son, Randy Pierson.

Merwyn is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Pierson; children, Mike Pierson, Mark Pierson (Pam), Theresa (Carl) Turner, and Terry (Bev) Pierson; grandchildren, Kim Buthe, Aubrey Clay, Kyle Wall, Nicole Mann, Dylan Pierson, Dustin Pierson, Cody Pierson and Cole Pierson; great grandchildren, Alyssa Mann, Kylie Mann, Kamry Buthe, Mariah Buthe, Braxton Buthe, Jayden Wall, and Paisley Wall; brothers, Dick (Julie) Pierson, Larry (Mary) Pierson, Dennis (Mary) Pierson; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
