Michael D. Smith, age 56, of Elkhorn, NE passed away March 15, 2018. He was born February 5, 1962 in Council Bluffs, IA.
He was preceded in death by brother, Patrick Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna Sklenar-Smith; children: Michael Smith Jr. (Sarah Amason), Erica Smith-Phalen (Eric Phalen), Richard Smith (Keli), Alexander Smith (Azarais Warren), Christian Smith, and Mia Smith; 9 grandchildren; parents, Lester and Shirley Smith; and brother, Scott Smith (Leah).
Visitation Mon., 6-8 pm, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service Tues., 10 am, also at the funeral home. Burial in Branson Cemetery in Loveland, IA. Memorials may be directed to the family.
