Michael Stephen Porter

Michael S. Porter, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2026.

He was born May 9, 1947, to the late Dwight and Lucille (Hays) Porter in Kamas, Utah. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Porter and Bill Porter; infant sister, Rebecca Porter; nephew, Stan Porter.

Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laura Porter; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Rob Meyers; brother, Tim Porter (Kay); sisters-in-law, Ruth Porter and Jackie Porter; grandchildren, Anya Meyers and Andy Meyers; honorary daughter, Tasha Malone; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
