Michael Eugene Spetman

Michael E. Spetman, age 78, passed away at his home on October 24, 2026.

He was born October 20, 1948, to the late Harold and Wilma (Wills) Spetman in Logan, IA. Michael graduated from Avoca High School with the class of 1966.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Victor & Irene Schmidt; brother-in-law, Wendell Schmidt; many extended family members on the Spetman side.

Michael is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynnette Spetman; children, David Spetman (Kathy), and Michelle Spetman; grandchildren, Addison Spetman and Michaela Spetman; siblings, William "Bill" Spetman, and Diane Evans (Roger); nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, November 06, 2026. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Inurnment will be later that afternoon in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery. The family will direct memorials in Michael's honor.
