Michael W. Kennedy

Michael W. Kennedy, age 66 of Crescent, Iowa passed away October 1, 2013 at his home. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 17, 1947 to William & Patricia (Mahoney) Kennedy. After graduating from Benson High School, he spent a career as a member of the International Ironworkers Local #21. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; sister, Colleen Bashus; brother, Mark Kennedy; granddaughter, Grace Kennedy; nephew, Justin Knight. Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Kennedy; children, Sean Kennedy (Samantha), Kathleen Feller (Corey), Kelli Baumert (Brad), Michael Kennedy Jr. (Cayla); father, William Kennedy (Marcia); 12 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Rosary recitation is Thursday 5:30PM followed by visitation until 8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is Friday 10:00AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Council Bluffs. Interment is in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
