Myron L. "Mac" Stephens

Myron L. Mac Stephens, age 74, passed away May 12, 2015. He was born near Loveland, Iowa on October 9, 1940 to Rubert & Florence (Shreeves) Stephens. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mac spent a 38 year career with the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk and carrier before his retirement. Mac was preceded in death by his father, Rubert Stephens; daughter, Tracie Clark; sister, Sharon Stephens; grandson, Jeremiah Stephens. Mac is survived by his wife, Shirley Stephens to whom he married on December 7, 1965; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Angela Stephens, Rick and Amanda Stephens; mother, Florence Stephens; sister, Nancy Hansen; son-in-law, Rick Clark; 7 grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment is in the Crescent, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
