Nancy Lee Jantzon

Nancy Lee Jantzon, age 84, passed away on June 9, 2026. Nancy was born on May 22, 1942, to Elmer and Hazel (Johnson) Wagar. She had a lifelong passion for jewelry and spent many years owning and operating her own jewelry stores in Minnesota. After relocating to Council Bluffs, she continued her career in the jewelry industry with Greenberg's Jewelers, where she met the love of her life, August. The couple married in 1990 and shared many happy years together.

A devoted member of Eastside Christian Church, Nancy faithfully served her church family through volunteer work and fellowship. She also dedicated more than 20 years to volunteering with hospice patients living with Alzheimer's disease, offering compassion, comfort, and companionship to those in need.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, August; siblings, Barbara Romer and Timothy Wagar; son-in-law, Paul Tonkinson.

Nancy is survived by her children, Randy (Sonya) Sailer, Renee Tonkinson, Rhonda (Bob) Burman, Ryan Sailer; brother, Mark (Judy) Wagar; sister, Nadine VanDyke; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Final resting place at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
The family will direct memorials.
