Nelle Marie Linkenhoker

Nelle Marie Linkenhoker, age 72, passed away peacefully at her home on April 11, 2026.

She was born June 25, 1953, to the late Curley and Nellie (Williams) Brown in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest C. May; grandson, Evan Cox; siblings, Berna Evans, Murlyn Swanson, Estel Brown, Larry Brown, Byron Brown, Richard Brown, Karen May, Steven Brown, Hardy Brown, and Forrest Brown.

Nelle is survived by her husband, Jeffery Linkenhoker; children, Todd May (Jessie), Justin Cox, Joseph Linkenhoker, Joshua Linkenhoker (Bethany), and Lacy Brockelsby (Jeromy); grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, Emily, Tucker, Ryan, Tyler, Dylan, J.W., Koltin, Rylee, Kyla, Alyssa, and Elliot; brother & sister-in-law, Lyle & Deb Brown; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
