Nicholaus John Epperson Sr

Nicholaus "Nick" John Epperson, Sr., age 47, sadly took his own life on April 18, 2026.

He was born on May 1, 1978, to the late Sharon Epperson and Ernest Camp in Omaha, Nebraska. Nick attended Council Bluffs Public Schools and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1996. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon Epperson and Ernest Camp; grandparents, Frederick "Peter" Petersen and Betty Peterson; and cousin, Anne Connolly.

Nicholaus is survived by his ex-wife and caretaker, Laura Stogdill; sons, Nicholaus Epperson, Jr., and Morgan Epperson; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at First Christian Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
