Norman Springer

Norman L Springer Sr., age 92, passed away peacefully at Fox Run Assisted Living Community on January 15, 2026.

He was born September 7, 1933, to the late George and Daisy (Mott) Springer in Council Bluffs, IA. Norman graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from AT&T. Norman was a longtime member of Valley View Baptist Church and currently a member of Southview Bible Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Springer; brothers, Wayne Springer, Willis Springer, and Lynn Springer.

Norman is survived by his children, Deb Anderson (Larry) and Norm Springer, Jr. (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Beula Young and Sandy Taylor; brothers-in-law, Dick Richardson and Joe Richardson; 7 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Southview Bible Church on Friday, January 23, 2026. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Southview Bible Church.
