Paul Rathman

Paul R. Rathman, age 83, passed away at Nebraska Medicine on January 4, 2024.

He was born October 6, 1940, to the late Walter and Arleen (Oler) Rathman in Atlantic, IA. Paul graduated from Cumberland Massena with the class of 1959. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Johnson; sisters-in-law, Elaine Robuck and Jeanie Schnepel.

Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosie Rathman; siblings-in-law, Carl Johnson, Gordon (Margaret Ann) Renfeld, and Pete (Diana) Dahl; special cousin, Karleen Evans; Godson, Mark Renfeld; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
