Paula Sortino

Paula Sortino, age 76 of Omaha, was born April 28, 1946 to Douglas and Eva Potter. 

She passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. Paula grew up in Omaha and spent her entire professional career as an Assistant to several of the Deans that served at Creighton University School of Dentistry for over 40 years. After retirement she started her new career as a full-time grandmother, spoiling and loving them all along the way. 

Paula is survived by her daughter, Jody Sortino (Rick Bradley), grandchildren Joshua Sortino (Andrea Sortino) and Jennifer Vasicek; great-grandchildren Graicee, Parker and Mazey Sortino; brothers, Dennis Potter (Sheri) and Raymond Potter (Cathie).

VISITATION: Tuesday, March 7, from 5pm to 7pm at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 8, at 10am, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, at 1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Followed by burial at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska.

Luncheon will follow at the Good Shepherd Reception Center in Omaha at 4712 S. 82nd Street. 

Memorials will be donated in her name to the Pediatric Cancer Programs at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
