Randall Dwayne Aldredge

Randall D. Aldredge, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home on February 2, 2026.

He was born on September 28, 1959, to the late Marvin and Jolene (Adrian) Aldredge in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Randy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to work as a career bricklayer, retiring in 2021.

A devoted Green Bay Packers fan, Randy never missed an opportunity to cheer on his team. Summers were often spent at area racetracks with his daughter, Amie, where he proudly rooted for his favorite late model drivers. He also shared a love of bowling with Amie, spending many weekends together at the lanes. Randy was a loyal Iowa Hawkeyes fan and was well known for his ability to recall player statistics.

His love of sports was matched by his appreciation for nature. An avid birdwatcher, Randy built his own bird sanctuary in his backyard, creating a peaceful haven where he enjoyed observing and learning about countless bird species.

Above all, Randy was loved and will be greatly missed by his family.

Randy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amie and Jon Lautenschlager; his grandchildren, Ava and Jude Lautenschlager; his sister, Cindy Chenier; his brother, Todd Aldredge; two nephews; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, February 09, 2026. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. The family will direct memorials.
