Raymond Lee Sanders

Raymond Lee Sanders, age 72, passed away March, 29, 2016 in Glenwood. He was born in Council Bluffs on March 14, 1944, to Lawrence and Carmelita (Love) Sanders. Ray graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1963. He married Joan Meyer on January 21, 1967 in Council Bluffs. Ray was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joan, sons, Tim and wife Joann, Terry and wife Karmell, grandchildren, Damon and Kayla, sister, Karen Graves and husband Lawrence, brother, Randy and wife Debbie, aunt, Elaine Love and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation is Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment is in the Silver City Cemetery. The family will direct the memorials.
