Richard E Rauhaus

Richard E. Rauhaus, age 78, passed away January 2, 2023.

He was born October 19, 1944, to the late Elias and Minnie (Hollins) Rauhaus in Omaha, NE. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from MidAmerican Energy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shawn Marie McDonald; sisters, Leona Smith-Harm, Irene Baker, Betty Phoenix, Viola Shamblen, and Darlene Perry; infant brother, Robert.

Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty (Collins) Rauhaus; sister, Frances Williams; fur babies, Sissy and Bella; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, January 08, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2023. The family will direct memorials in his honor.
