Richard F. Swanger

Richard F. Swanger, Sr, age 67, passed away August 5, 2014. He was born in Logan, Iowa on November 20, 1946 to the late Henry & Katie (Cooper) Swanger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Swanger and infant brother, Louis Swanger. Richard is survived by children, Morey Swanger (Tonya), Angie Swanger-Hunter (Mike), Rick F. Swanger, Jr., Rich A. Swanger (Michelle), Mary McCart (Scott), Sue Hardisty; sisters, Gladys Stevens, Dorothy Cretcher, Mary Knoll (Wil); brother, Henry Swanger; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Thursday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Friday 10AM at the funeral home followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Inurnment will be in the Logan, Iowa Cemetery at a later date. The family will direct memorials.
