Richard Spreng

Richard A. "Rick" Spreng, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home on December 6, 2025.

He was born February 24, 1956, to the late Elmer and VaNetta (Quandt) Spreng in Denison, IA. Rick graduated from Denison High School with the class of 1974. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and spent a career in construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Emmyann Frances Spreng; brothers, Mike Spreng and Larry Spreng.

Rick is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lucinda Spreng; sister, Darlene O'Donnell; a host of other family and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in the Hazel Dell Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
