Rita Maye Mckern

Rita Maye McKern, age 73, passed away February 29, 2020.

She was born on November 5, 1947 to the late George and Margaret (Regan) James in Imogene, Iowa.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Larry McKern; son, Travis McKern; siblings, Phyllis James; Keith James; Richard James; Pat James. She is survived by her children, Shawn McKern (Sue); Mark McKern; Michele McKern; Mindy McKern; Katie Bryant (Kevin); 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, LuAnn James; Shirley James; Frank James; a host of other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2020 at the Corpus Christi Parish - Queen of Apostles Church in Council Bluffs. Inurnment is in Garner Township Cemetery.
