Robert D. "Bob" Smith

Robert D. "Bob" Smith, age 78, passed away November 6, 2021.

He was born June 4, 1943, to the late Veral and Dorothy (Galiher) Smith in Persia, IA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John "Jack" Smith and grandson, Blake Smith.

Robert is survived by his wife Janice Smith; children, Mark Smith, Scott (Anna Petersen) Smith and Lori (John) Mitchell; sister, Marilyn (Rich) Knauss; sister-in-law, Mary Smith; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Interment is in the Valley View Cemetery near Persia, Iowa. The family will direct memorials.
